Not On Your Nan’s Keynote

Public speaking for me isn’t just about standing in front of an audience. It’s about being heard. When I’m on that stage, I’m speaking from experience—from the raw, unfiltered truth of a life that hasn’t always been easy, but one that’s taught me how to stand tall. From Parliament to galleries, housing venues to international conferences, I’ve spoken alongside Presidents, Prime Ministers, and a whole range of high-profile figures. And let’s be honest—if I wasn’t saying something that could make a real difference, I wouldn’t have been invited to speak on those stages.

I didn’t always have the confidence to speak, especially not when I was living on the streets. There was a time when I couldn’t even look someone in the eye, let alone tell them my situation. To go from that place, from being homeless with zero self-belief, to speaking at some of the highest-profile events in the world—that’s no small feat. But the most memorable moment for me was speaking in front of the Royal Family at a Ssafa event. It went so well that Prince Michael of Kent actually pulled me aside for a private chat afterward. That’s when I knew—there’s a real power in my words, and people are listening.

I’m not here to waste anyone’s time. If I’m speaking at your event, it’s because I’ve got something to say. Something that matters. I bring with me not only my life’s experiences but the belief that my words can spark change. So, if you’re looking for someone who doesn’t just stand up and talk—someone who knows how to move, inspire, and challenge an audience—then let’s talk. Don’t be silly, hire me for your keynote. You won’t regret it.
